  Confirmed ahead of time they could handle vegetarians and checked again before we turned up. Each time was told it wasn't a problem and they catered for all dietary restrictions. We get there and the staff know nothing about this and are a bit flummoxed. After discussing with the kitchen I'm offered the choice of an entrée consisting of side dishes from other mains. I say choice, but it was that or leave. Food was actually pretty good but expensive for the quality.

  Nearly flawless. Servers were wonderful and knowledgeable. Food was just fabulous. Drink pairings are well balanced. Definitely will be back.

  We ate here in November and stayed at the attached Sterling Inn. The food was phenomenal and the restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. They make a lot of their own ingredients there. The bartender was great! One of the wait staff make all the bitters and compotes for the drinks. Excellent romantic restaurant with great food.

  The field to farm 3 course meal with wine pairing for each course was excellent. I had the pleasure of experiencing the confit of duck followed by a bread pudding, both of which were presented excellently and tasted even better! The wines were excellent, although I admit I do not drink much wine.
