  Maybe 5 or 6 tables when we got there. Greeted quickly enough. Ordered quickly enough. 3 of the 4 of us have/do work in the service industry. 45 minutes later the food showed up. My girlfriends order was wrong, and the rest of us finished our food before her correct order came out. We mentioned the delay to the owner, she said the server was helping to prep the salads (which none of us ordered). The server was not communicative or apologetic regarding the delay, didn't even acknowledge it. They blamed the delay on being busy. Which is another way of saying we were part of the problem they had. Which is working. The owner comped our drinks. We didn't tip because we felt the service wasn't anywhere near worthy of it. Great food however. Being a local to Niagara, I won't be returning or recommending it.

  We dined here at the Riverside on Mother's Day weekend and the food was really great. The waitress on the other hand was pretty much nonexistent. We chatted with Brad the chef and told him we really enjoyed our meal. I didn't bothered​ mentioning anything about the service. We enjoyed our dinner so much that we returned for Father's day weekend dinner but this time to a different experience. The food was okay. My wings didn't really have any flavor. The wing sauce was just ok. The chocolate cake for dessert I couldn't even eat. It was so stale not even my 4 yr old son who loves chocolate would eat it. But overall the food was good. Fortunately the waitress we had this time was better but was not too familiar with the menu. We asked a few questions and each time she didn't know the answer. I don't think we would be returning for a 3rd time though......

  Great dinner. Had the meat lovers pizza, friends had burgers, French onion soup and Angus burger with Jack cheese. Exceptional service...we will be back.
